Creating a new masterpiece sculptor piece that may travel to each state in The USA, Inspiring and educating about The New Declaration of Independence. Video coverage with photography, media to get the word out of “Healing without shame or blame”. Programs ready to be implementing for our youth in Theatre to find there purpose through creativity. A new theatre built for the community to engage and gather with youth and adults with art showcasings. Radio station we have a FM station now and need assistance with antennae, equipment to get it fully functioning which will be filled with resources for the community.

Dear Local Business, As a business leader in the community, you understand the pressing need for solutions to long-term challenges. Our non-profit seeks to “Heal America from the wounds of slavery without shame or blame.” In 1997 JuneteenthVA hosted the first Juneteenth Festival in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Founder, Sheri Bailey was born and raised in Portsmouth. She graduated from I.C. Norcom High School and from there went on to the University of Pennsylvania where she earned a B.A. in English and a master’s degree that focused on “Using Guerrilla Theatre to Build Community.” In eĊort to solve some of our community’s challenges, for a fund raiser we’re organizing a play “Abolitionists’ Museum” written and directed by Sheri Bailey. The show will be presented at the White House on the Ellipse Stage, Wednesday June 19th at 3pm. To make this event a success, we need the support of generous businesses like yours! I’m asking you to sponsor a charter coach bus that will transport event attendees from Hampton Roads to Washington, D.C. on June 19, 2024. ($4,500) Your donation strengthens our resources and intentions in ways that allow us to impact the World. On this Juneteenth Holiday Juneteenth followers will be able to watch the play on C-Span and/or by physically attending the parade and performances in front of the White House from the comfort of our VIP tents. Also on the agenda is the long-running tradition started by NJOF founder Rev. Dr. Ronald V. Myers hosting, National Prayer Breakfast at the National Press Club on the day before Juneteenth, on Tuesday, June 18th at 7:30am. We will have media interviews and we will share brochures of the JuneteenthVA Tribute to the Declaration of Independence and Democracy.
